DENISE ROSSI
My experience in the field of home painting is extensive. I began exterior and interior home painting in the 70’s when few women worked in the trades. I was a rarity, but I loved what I was doing; each home I worked on was like a giant canvas on which I created a work of art.
Fourteen years ago, I returned to the field, this time with the intention of broadening my expertise. I attended faux painting classes at Vandele Studio in San Francisco, Royal Design Studio in San Diego, as well as classes at Faux Masters in Southern California. I was immediately enthralled with the highly specialized techniques, mediums, and effects that could be utilized and created.
The art of decorative painting has provided me an entirely new understanding and interpretation of the work I began over 40 years ago. My abilities today truly constitute an art form beyond anything I could have imagined for myself. I no longer simply open a can of paint and apply it to a freshly prepped surface. Rather, today, I explore color, texture, light, multiple other home elements and creative artistic techniques to formulate compositions specific to the customer and their home. I am continually exploring new finishes and products to supply my clients with the most sophisticated and modern options available, with the goal of achieving visual harmony throughout their home.
In this way, the service I provide my clients is highly personalized, tailored to meet their specific tastes and preferences. Initial consultations are a crucial aspect of my business; meeting with each client, one-on-one, not only facilitates an effective professional relationship, but also allows the client and I to better clarify and implement their vision in the most cohesive way possible. I believe communication is inherent to the success of each project and satisfaction of every client; I encourage client feedback throughout every stage of their job to ensure their fulfillment upon completion.
